The Switch
Go on and say it: I switch domains like I change my clothes. Haha, yeah, keep laughing.
Truth is, if I wrote one more entry on Not Too Geeky I was going to explode. I love the domain name but I outgrew the site, for lack of another word.
- I have a resistance to things on the internet that confine me content-wise. The Not Too Geeky domain was about me being a geek but not too geeky and honestly, I’m more than a geek. I’m part geek, part nerd, part socialite…I’m a mix of a lot of things with a wide range of interests.
- You’ll note the missing leaf on this site. Yes, I am not a member of 9rules. Well, perhaps I am by default because I own 9rules along with Mike and Scrivs but this site is not in 9rules.
- I Talk, U Listen sounds sort of bossy, doesn’t it? That’s totally the opposite of my personality but isn’t that what blogs are about? The writer writes something, someone reads it, and perhaps responds. So…I Talk, U Listen then U Talk (comments) and I’ll Listen.
- Yes, I am going to get another design for the site. I could be writing while the design is being done. No ETA on that one people.
What am I going to talk about? Haha, not trapping myself again: whatever I want but I tend to put a life/business/writing spin on things. I will also be talking about 9rules since that is the request I receive the most. Yes, I actually listened and I’m implementing. At 9rules, we listen….
The entries here have two flavors: the Quick Thoughts which is a Twitter type thing that will have my quick thoughts on 9rules and anything else. And of course the blog itself for things I want to talk about in-depth. There are RSS options for the Quick Thoughts alone, the entries alone and a combined feed.
Why can’t I think of a way to end this?
