Women Traps - He tunes you out
You have something on your mind and you want to talk about it. While sharing your feelings, thoughts, etc. you realize he’s not paying attention. He’s tuned you out and his focus is elsewhere.
Stop talking.
Your gut instinct will be to get upset and then talk about how rude it is that he tuned out.
Stop talking.
What’s the point? Obviously something is on his mind or worse he has no interest in what you are saying. Unless you are doing something stupid like trying to have this conversation during a sports game you know he has an interest in (yeah, that’s stupid), he should be listening to you. If he isn’t, that is a sign. There is no point in talking to a wall.
Stop talking.
Don’t try to force the issue. If it’s not a serious emergency, just chill and wait for another time. If you bring it up again and he tunes out, he doesn’t have an interest in what you’re saying…or you have the worst timing ever.

Logical but in the moment, I want to slap him. :=)
I know ladies that wait until their man is preoccupied to talk to them just to test them. What’s more important?

Idea: instead of tuning out say, “I don’t wanna talk about it” or “you’re pissing me off” or “didn’t we go through this already?” Say something!

Deidre, that’s foul. It’s sad that a woman is that insecure. Emotionally needy women are a drain.

I concur. She is very emotionally needy. I told her she should see someone because she has chased away good men over foolishness.
If the spoke up, they would be making things easy.

I don’t purposely find a bad time to talk but what if any time you try to talk is the wrong time?

I bookmarked the site because of this Tyme. God, why do women always want all of a man’s time?

A missing point: a disinterested man can tune out at any time. Over dinner, watching a movie, having sex. I agree that talking right then would only irritate him, causing a fight.
Hector, I think insecure women want reassurance of their importance. If her boyfriend picks her over something he really likes it reassures her.

Hector we don’t want all of your time. Just a significant part of it! lmao
Seriously, don’t you think that men are doing something to prompt a woman to act like that?

He’s not feeling you. Is he around because he feels like he has to be?
Good read.

Helene, your man isn’t into you like he once was. Believe it or not when a man is into he enjoys talking about you and wants to know what you think and feel.

I both agree and disagree.  Yes women who are insecure can be a drain, and annoying. But IF you love her you should be willing to invest the time to ensure she feels secure. Notice the big IF there, it is important. Ladies, face it, we will always do things that annoy you. This is just one of them. Get over it. If it is TRULY important to you, get our attention. If you can look ahead six months or a year and say "What was that all about?", it really isn’t that important. again, get over it.Â
Admittedly there are just as many insecure men out there, I am sure you ladies can tell us all about them.

Very true, if the love is there, one should do their best to try to ease the insecurities. Both genders annoy each other. Don’t sweat the small stuff.

I don’t see how you put up with her as long as you did. Took a long time for you to relax when you were doing something fun lol.
